MAKE IMAGES ON YOUR BLOG NON CLICKABLE

One annoying thing about blogging is anybody can simply click the images on your blog and download them easily . To prevent people from illegally downloading images from your blog you can do only one thing i.e to make them non clickable .Im going to tell you a method to make your images non clickable.


Just go the EDIT HTML section of your blog "post" and search for something which looks like this

WHAT IS RSS?

Using RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is just like bookmarking a site . People use it to know the latest news directly instead of going to that particular site for it. When you bookmark a site you visit that site frequently and gather the data you want to know. But if you subscribe to a RSS feed then all the new content automatically comes to your google reader or whatever service you use. One usually sees the above symbol in many famous sites or blogs regularly. If you click that logo and follow some simple steps you will  have subscribed to the rss feed of that site and all the news and new content comes automatically to your reader.

USING KEYWORDS FOR YOUR BLOG

First of all you should know what keywords are. Keywords tell you how users are searching for a particular word using google search . If you go to google and search for "keywords" and then click the first result then you get this page.

One of the biggest mistake committed by amateur bloggers is just posting good content and waiting for viewers to watch their blog.Viewers just don't find your blog that easily because of the number of other blogs already in that particular topic.You cannot just expect anyone to find your blog.Instead you should expose your blog by submitting URL to the most powerful and popular search engines.You don't need to submit it to all search engines but a few are a must.  You can submit to them by clicking each one of them.

3. MSN (BING).

SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION (SEO)

Many bloggers dont really understand why their blog generally doesnt come on top of search engine results.It's not easy to get to the top page but some work needs to be done.Some of the important seo tips:

1. First of all submit your url to all the popular search engines.
2. Try to get a custom domain.
3. Use keywords in a proper way and in proper quantity (dont fill a post completely with key words)
4. Keep tracking how actually your visitors end up in your page with help of tracking tools and plan your strategy carefully.

REMOVE JUST ANOTHER WORDPRESS.COM SITE FROM HEADER

This article deals with removing  just another wordpress.com site near the header. Here there is a way to hide it . You cannot remove it but can have a description of your site in its place.


Just login and go your wordpress dashboard . Find settings tab and in that find general .There you find edit the tagline . Just remove the general text that you see there and add a short description of what your blog or site is all about.Save your settings and thats it. Now u have your text instead of the default text.

NAV BAR REMOVAL FOR BLOGGER

This article deals with removal of NAV bar at the top . Just  sign in to your account and go to your dashboard . Find design and the tab EDIT HTML in it . Simply scroll down and get to this.

After this line  just paste the following code below it and choose save the template below .

Finally it should look like this:

Now save the template at the bottom of your screen and there u go, you have no NAV bar. Just make sure that u have a saved copy of your template  before editing it incase you mess anything.
However this technique can be applied to blogs from blogspot only.



TIP: for all posts regarding EDITING HTML make sure that you have a downloaded copy of your template with you just in case anything goes wrong.

HOW TO LABEL YOUR POSTS

In this post i am going to show you how to Label your posts. This is an  easy one and is intended for beginners. Labels help you organize all your posts in a proper manner. In the modern  day blogger you can easily find  thing called Labels below your post body. This is a photo showing where you find labels in your post editor:

CHANGE THE ORDER OF YOUR POSTS

This post helps you changing the order of your posts. This is just a common sense trick. All your posts are listed in an order which keeps your latest post at the top and remaining following it according to your posting time.So, now you need to change your post's date ( and time if u have more posts in a single day). Here is how to do it.

In your post's body you can find "Post Options" at the bottom . On clicking that u can see "Post date and time" . Now change it's date and time accordingly so that you can get your required order.
